POST-CONSTRUCTION CLEANING · ELMHURST
Post-Construction Cleaning
in Elmhurst, Queens
Detailed post-construction cleaning for a Elmhurst home after renovation or new-build work. Send photos and tell us what was renovated. We’ll review the work, price and timing with you, arranging a walkthrough if we need a closer look.

AFTER THE RENOVATION
Cleaning up the dust

Fine dust settles above eye level and in small gaps. Cleaning it often takes more than one pass, especially after work on several rooms.
Depending on the work we agree to include, we clean:
- Windowsills, doorframes, baseboards and light fixtures
- Cabinet exteriors and tops, plus interiors when they’re emptied and included
- Tracks, hinges and edges where dust collects
- Floors in the agreed rooms, with vacuuming and mopping after dusting
- Other affected surfaces that need a careful wipe-down
Show us any vents, AC filters, paint splatters or adhesive marks you want addressed. We’ll check what can be cleaned safely before including it. Full duct cleaning and HVAC servicing are not included.
Planning for your Elmhurst home
For an apartment, co-op or house, tell us about building access and which rooms need attention. If you are preparing for a move, mention whether kitchen and bathroom cabinets will be empty and which appliance interiors you want included. For post-construction planning, identify the completed work, the rooms it affected and any dust, debris, paint marks or other concerns that remain. Photos and project details help us review the work. If we need a closer look at the surfaces, dust or access, we can arrange a walkthrough before confirming the plan and price.
Before the visit, have contractors remove heavy debris, trash bags, tools and removed fixtures. Debris removal isn’t included. Water, electricity and access should be ready. Tell us about remaining dusty work so we can discuss when the cleaning makes sense.

Do you need a walkthrough before giving an estimate?
Not always. Send photos and describe the renovation, affected rooms and remaining work. If we need a closer look at the dust, surfaces or access, we can arrange one.
Is post-construction cleaning the same as a deep clean?
Construction dust can need repeated cleaning, including above eye level and in small gaps. Tell us about the renovation so we can plan the time and work it needs rather than treat it as an ordinary deep clean.
Can you clean inside the cabinets?
Yes, when the interiors are included in the agreed work and the cabinets are emptied. Tell us which cabinets need attention before the visit.
When should I schedule the cleaning?
Ideally, after the dusty work is finished and contractors have removed their equipment and debris. Tell us about remaining work and your move-in date. We’ll discuss timing and availability before confirming an appointment.
What if I’m not satisfied?
Please let us know within 24 hours of the cleaning ending. We’ll arrange a return visit and complete the re-clean within 48 hours of the original cleaning ending. See our FAQs for more details.
